A native of Northwest Ohio, Dr. Young grew up on her family’s farm, where her early experiences with livestock sparked a lifelong passion for animal care. She is a proud graduate of Eastwood High School (Class of 1992) and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University in 1999. After completing her studies, Dr. Young returned to the area to raise her family and continue serving her community. She now lives with her husband, two children, their beloved dog Luna, several cats, and the occasional porch-visiting possum—all in the home built by her great-grandparents.

Allison has worked in the veterinary field for a total of 14 years; working as a veterinary assistant before becoming a Practice Manager. When she’s not at the clinic, she enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and watching baseball (Go Cubs!) with her husband and three daughters. She also enjoys spoiling her super cute cat, Lorelei Sprinkles!
